1. What this covers

This page explains how aerconinfratech.com uses cookies and similar browser storage, and how the cookie banner you see when you first visit works. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. What's a cookie, anyway?

A cookie is a small piece of data a website asks your browser to store, so the site can remember something about your visit the next time you load a page - like whether you're logged in, or what you chose in a banner like ours. "Similar technology" covers things like browser-local-storage, which works the same way from a privacy standpoint even though it isn't technically a cookie.

3. The choice you're given

The first time you visit, a banner lets you choose between three categories. Nothing outside of "Essential" runs until you say so:

• Essential - always on. Covers things like remembering your cookie choice itself and keeping the site secure. The site can't function without these, so they're not optional.
• Analytics - off by default. If turned on, lets us see aggregate information about how visitors use the site (which pages get visited, roughly how many people, etc.) so we can improve it. Currently used for Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
• Marketing - off by default. If turned on, would allow tools that measure how well our marketing efforts are working. Not currently in use.

The categories above and the consent banner exist so that nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies ever runs without your say-so.

4. Change your mind anytime

You can reopen the preferences banner and change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link right below, or the same link in the footer of any page.

5. Cookies from your browser itself

Separately from anything above, your browser lets you view, delete, or block cookies from any site directly in its settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working correctly.

6. Updates to this policy

If what we collect changes meaningfully, we'll update this page and the date above.
