How a model audit runs
We start with your model and your standards - never by rebuilding it.
Receive model and standards
We take the model as it is, together with the BEP, template, naming convention and any client standard it is meant to satisfy. Nothing is modelled at this stage.
Define audit criteria
We agree exactly what the model is being judged against and what counts as a pass, so the report is measured against your requirements rather than our preferences.
Automated checks
Rule-based checks for model health, warnings, file size, purgeable content, duplicate and unplaced elements, worksets and view discipline.
Manual model review
What automation cannot see: modelling method, element hosting, whether geometry means what it claims, and whether the model can actually be used downstream.
Geometry and data validation
Elements checked against the required Level of Development, and parameters checked for completeness, consistency and correct type against your schedule needs.
Standards compliance
Naming, classification, shared parameters, view and sheet structure checked line by line against your BEP and template.
Issue classification
Every finding is rated by severity and effort, so you can see what blocks delivery, what costs money later, and what is cosmetic.
Audit report
A written report with evidence per finding, a prioritised remediation list and an honest verdict on whether the model is fit for its intended use.
